Ingredients
  

  • Dough
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Coating
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Fillings
  • Nutella
  • Pistachio cream
  • Strawberry jam
  • Pastry cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Mix flour, yogurt, vanilla, and salt in a bowl until dough forms.
  3. Knead lightly on a floured surface for 2 minutes.
  4. Divide dough into 8 equal balls.
  5. Spray air fryer basket lightly with oil.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Brush warm bomboloni with melted butter.
  8. Roll generously in sugar.
  9. Fill with desired filling using piping bag or knife.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use thick Greek yogurt for fluffy dough.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Fill while warm for best texture.
  • Reheat in air fryer instead of microwave for better softness.
