Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar optional

Method
 

  1. Chill a mixing bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  2. Melt chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Add sugar and whip lightly.
  5. Fold melted chocolate into the whipped cream gently.
  6. Spoon into serving glasses and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Use good-quality chocolate for best flavor.
  • Do not over-whip the cream or the texture becomes grainy.
  • Add a splash of vanilla for extra depth.
  • Chill the mousse well for the creamiest results.
