Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Melt butter over medium-low heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and warm gently.
  4. Lower heat and add parmesan gradually.
  5. Stir until smooth and thick.
  6. Season and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan only
  • Keep heat low after adding cheese
  • Thin sauce with pasta water if needed
  • Serve immediately for best texture
