Air Fryer Beef Tallow Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large russet potatoes about 2 lbs
  • 2 tablespoons beef tallow melted
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder or smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Wash and peel potatoes (optional).
  2. Cut into ¼-inch sticks.
  3. Soak in cold water for 30–60 minutes.
  4. Drain and dry thoroughly.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F.
  6. Toss fries with melted beef tallow and seasoning.
  7. Cook 15 minutes at 380°F, shaking halfway.
  8. Increase temperature to 400°F and cook 5–7 more minutes.
  9. Remove and salt immediately.
  10. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Dry potatoes completely before cooking.
  • Cook in batches for best crisp.
  • Use high-quality beef tallow for best flavor.
  • Adjust cooking time based on fry thickness.
