Ingredients
  

  • Kunafa Layer:
  • cups kataifi shredded phyllo dough
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • Pistachio Filling:
  • ½ cup pistachio butter
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • Pinch salt
  • Chocolate Shell:
  • cups dark or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil optional
  • Optional Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
  • Flaky sea salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Toss kataifi with melted butter.
  3. Air fry 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy. Cool completely.
  4. Mix pistachio butter, condensed milk, and salt.
  5. Melt chocolate in microwave in short intervals.
  6. Spoon chocolate into molds.
  7. Add crispy kataifi layer.
  8. Add pistachio filling.
  9. Add more kataifi.
  10. Seal with melted chocolate.
  11. Chill 30–45 minutes until firm.
  12. Remove from molds and serve.

Notes

  • Fully thaw kataifi before separating strands.
  • Toast until golden, not pale.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for best snap.
  • Allow full chill time before unmolding.
