Ingredients
  

  • Tofu:
  • 1 14–16 oz extra-firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Sauce:
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

Method
 

  1. Press tofu 20–30 minutes.
  2. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Toss with soy sauce, oil, and pepper.
  4. Coat with cornstarch.
  5. Air fry at 390°F for 12–15 minutes.
  6. Simmer sauce ingredients.
  7. Add cornstarch slurry and thicken.
  8. Toss tofu in sauce and serve.

Notes

  • Press tofu thoroughly for best texture.
  • Do not overcrowd air fryer basket.
  • Add sauce only after tofu crisps.
  • Adjust sweetness or spice to taste.
