Air Fryer Honey Walnut Shrimp

Ingredients
  

  • Shrimp
  • 1 lb large raw shrimp peeled & deveined
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 2 egg whites
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil spray
  • Candied Walnuts
  • 1 cup walnut halves
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • Honey Sauce
  • cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Boil sugar and water, add walnuts, simmer 2–3 minutes. Drain and cool.
  2. Pat shrimp dry. Coat in cornstarch, egg whites, then panko.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Air fry shrimp 6 minutes, flip, cook 4–5 minutes more.
  5. Whisk sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  6. Toss shrimp and walnuts with sauce just before serving.

Notes

  • Always use raw shrimp
  • Sauce lightly to keep shrimp crispy
  • Cook shrimp in batches if needed
  • Serve immediately for best texture
