Method
- Mix warm water and sugar; add yeast and rest 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and butter; knead into soft dough.
- Rest dough 20–30 minutes.
- Roll dough into ropes and cut into bites.
- Boil water and baking soda.
- Boil bites 30 seconds; drain.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Arrange bites in basket; brush with butter and salt.
- Air fry 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Serve warm with dip.
