Air Fryer Tostadas with Refried Beans

Ingredients
  

  • 4 corn tortillas
  • Oil spray avocado or olive oil
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 2 tablespoons water or broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • Sour cream or crema
  • Salsa or hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Lightly spray both sides of tortillas with oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Air fry tortillas for 4 minutes, flip, then cook 3–4 more minutes until crispy.
  4. Warm refried beans with water or broth until smooth.
  5. Spread beans on tostadas and add toppings.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Flip tortillas halfway for even crisping.
  • Don’t overspray oil or tortillas turn stiff.
  • Assemble right before serving to keep crunch.
  • Adjust cook time based on air fryer size.
