- Mash avocado with salt and pepper.
- Butter the outside of the bread slices.
- Layer: bread, cheese, avocado, cheese, bread.
- Cook in a skillet over medium-low 3–5 min per side.
- Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Use two cheeses for better melting.
- Season avocado to avoid blandness.
- thick sourdough helps the sandwich hold together.
- Low heat prevents burning.
