Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 ripe avocado mashed
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar + mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp butter or mayo
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
  • Optional: tomato slices bacon, chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Mash avocado with salt and pepper.
  2. Butter the outside of the bread slices.
  3. Layer: bread, cheese, avocado, cheese, bread.
  4. Cook in a skillet over medium-low 3–5 min per side.
  5. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use two cheeses for better melting.
  • Season avocado to avoid blandness.
  • thick sourdough helps the sandwich hold together.
  • Low heat prevents burning.
