Method
- Bake brownies and cool completely. Cut into chunks.
- Lightly drain cherries, reserving some syrup.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla to soft peaks.
- Layer brownies, cherries, and whipped cream in a trifle bowl.
- Repeat layers until bowl fills.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
- Chill at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fudgy brownies only
- Chill for best texture
- Don’t overwhip cream
- Adjust cherry syrup to taste
