Ingredients
  

  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls ciliegine
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 12 small skewers or toothpicks

Method
 

  1. Thread one tomato, one folded basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball onto each skewer.
  2. Arrange on a platter.
  3. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  5. Finish with balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes

  • Dry the mozzarella so it doesn’t slide off the skewers.
  • Taste your tomatoes—sweet ones make all the difference.
  • Always season with salt and pepper for maximum flavor.
  • Drizzle balsamic last to avoid soggy basil.
