Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Stand the taco shells in a baking dish and pre-bake for 5 minutes.
- Brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain.
- Add taco seasoning + tomato sauce. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Sprinkle a little cheese inside each taco shell.
- Fill each shell with meat mixture.
- Top generously with more cheese.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the edges crisp.
- Add toppings and serve hot.
Notes
- Shred your cheese fresh for the best melt.
- Pre-baking shells keeps them crispy.
- Don’t overfill or shells will crack.
- Drain meat well to avoid soggy bottoms.
