Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt to a large microwave-safe mug.
  2. Stir in milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Microwave for 50–60 seconds; check doneness.
  5. Add 10 seconds only if needed.
  6. Cool slightly and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Don’t over-microwave — this is the #1 cause of dry mug cakes.
  • Use mini chocolate chips for better melting.
  • Use a wide mug so the cake cooks evenly.
  • Brown sugar makes it softer than white sugar.
