Ingredients
  

  • Cake:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • ½ cup oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • Mousse:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla

Method
 

  1. Melt chocolate chips and let cool.
  2. Whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to soft peaks. Fold in melted chocolate. Chill.
  3. Mix all dry cake ingredients in one bowl.
  4. Whisk wet ingredients separately, then combine with dry.
  5. Grease bundt pan. Pour half batter. Add half mousse in spoonfuls. Swirl.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter and mousse.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 50–55 minutes.
  8. Cool 15 minutes before flipping. Add glaze if desired.

Notes

  • Use high-quality cocoa for best flavor.
  • Don’t overswirl mousse or you’ll lose the marble effect.
  • Ensure the chocolate cools slightly before folding into whipped cream.
  • Let cake cool fully before slicing.
