Ingredients
  

  • 4 large parsnips about 1.5 lbs
  • tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional

Method
 

  1. Peel and cut parsnips into ¼-inch sticks.
  2. Pat completely dry.
  3. Toss with cornstarch (optional).
  4. Add olive oil and seasonings. Mix well.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F.
  6. Place fries in single layer.
  7. Cook 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd for best crispiness.
  • Older parsnips may have woody cores—remove them.
  • Add 2–3 extra minutes for darker edges.
  • Sprinkle flaky salt immediately after cooking.
