Ingredients
  

  • Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled & deveined
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne optional
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp pickle relish
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Pinch cayenne
  • Salt to taste
  • Sandwich
  • 4 French rolls
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Dill pickle slices

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Set up breading station: flour, eggs, breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Bread shrimp flour → egg → breadcrumbs.
  4. Air fry shrimp 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway and spraying oil.
  5. Mix sauce ingredients in bowl.
  6. Assemble sandwiches and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Spray shrimp generously with oil for best crunch.
  • Pat shrimp dry before breading.
  • Sauce tastes better after resting 10 minutes.
