Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: lemon zest crushed red pepper, parmesan, toasted almonds

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a boil. Add green beans and cook 3–4 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Melt butter in a hot skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add green beans, salt, and pepper. Toss until coated in garlic butter.
  5. Cook 2–3 minutes until slightly browned.
  6. Add lemon or parmesan if desired. Serve warm.

  • Blanch the beans for perfect crunch.
  • Use fresh garlic for real flavor.
  • Salt at the end to maintain texture.
