Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette sliced
  • 6 oz Gorgonzola Dolce
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey plus 1 tbsp for walnuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • Pinch flaky sea salt
  • Fresh thyme optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brush baguette slices with olive oil.
  3. Bake 8–10 minutes until golden.
  4. Toast walnuts in skillet 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add 1 tbsp honey to walnuts and stir.
  6. Spread Gorgonzola on warm crostini.
  7. Top with honey walnuts.
  8. Drizzle remaining honey lightly.
  9. Finish with pepper and salt.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use Gorgonzola Dolce for milder flavor.
  • Toast walnuts fresh for best texture.
  • Assemble just before serving.
  • Bring cheese to room temperature.
