Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • cups marinara sauce
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  3. Sear chicken in olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Spread marinara in a baking dish. Add chicken.
  5. Spoon remaining sauce over chicken.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  8. Rest 5 minutes, garnish with basil, and serve.
