Ingredients
  

  • Cabbage Layer
  • 1 large green cabbage
  • Salted water for boiling
  • Meat Sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 cups low carb marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper
  • Cheese Layer
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Method
 

  1. Boil cabbage leaves 2–3 minutes. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Brown beef and onion. Drain grease.
  3. Add garlic and marinara. Simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Mix ricotta, egg, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley.
  5. Layer sauce, cabbage, cheese. Repeat.
  6. Top with mozzarella.
  7. Bake at 375°F covered 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake 15 minutes.
  9. Rest 10–15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Dry cabbage completely before layering.
  • Use thick marinara to prevent sogginess.
  • Let lasagna rest before slicing.
  • Store leftovers tightly covered.
