Ingredients
  

  • 1 bone-in turkey breast 5–7 lbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (like Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp chipotle powder optional, for spice

Method
 

  1. Pat turkey breast dry, rub with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar.
  2. Preheat smoker to 250°F with applewood or hickory chips.
  3. Smoke turkey breast until it reaches 150°F internally.
  4. Mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, honey, and chipotle powder. Brush over turkey.
  5. Continue smoking until internal temp hits 165°F.
  6. Rest 15 minutes, slice, and serve with extra glaze
