Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 pan.
- Prepare cake mix per box directions. Pour half batter in pan; bake 15 minutes.
- Melt caramels, butter, and evaporated milk until smooth; pour over baked cake.
- Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips evenly over caramel.
- Pour remaining cake batter carefully on top; bake 20-25 minutes until firm.
- Cool fully; frost with chocolate frosting. Garnish pecans/chips optional.
