Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 14 oz bag Kraft Caramel Squares, unwrapped
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup pecans toasted and chopped
  • 12 oz mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 16 oz can Betty Crocker Chocolate Frosting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 pan.
  2. Prepare cake mix per box directions. Pour half batter in pan; bake 15 minutes.
  3. Melt caramels, butter, and evaporated milk until smooth; pour over baked cake.
  4. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips evenly over caramel.
  5. Pour remaining cake batter carefully on top; bake 20-25 minutes until firm.
  6. Cool fully; frost with chocolate frosting. Garnish pecans/chips optional.

  • Toast pecans for max flavor & crunch.
  • Use mini chips for even melting.
